Q. How do I get an Access
Code?
A.If you are eligible to report
using TNPAWS, the website and Access Code will be printed to
the right of line 1 (Total Wages) on your Premium Report.
Access codes are assigned at the time the reports are
printed. For your security, the Access Code will change
annually beginning with the first quarter. If you have lost
or did not receive a report, contact the Employer Accounts
Unit at (615)741-2486 to request a replacement
form.
Q.
When I try to log in, I
get the message that my User Name or Password is invalid. How
can I find out what it is?
A. For your security, we cannot
access your User Name or Password. If you have logged in
using this User Name before but on another computer, please
be sure Javascript is enabled. If you cannot remember
your User Name, please register again. If you cannot
remember your Password, you can reset it after verifying
certain information. If you cannot verify the requested
information, please register again. Click here to
go to the Password Change screen. If this error message
is displayed repeatedly, please confirm that your browser is
set to accept cookies.
Q.
When I enter my account
number and access code, I get the message that my access code
is invalid. How can I determine my access
code?
A. Please be sure that you have
entered the access code printed on the current quarter
premium report. It is printed to the right of line 1 (Total
Wages) on the Premium Report. The current quarter information
can be found on our Home page. For your security, the access
code will change beginning with the first quarter of every
year.

Supplemental Premium and Wage Report
(LB-0456) or Claim for Adjustment or Refund form
(LB-0459) if changes to the information submitted are
needed. If you wish to display these forms, you must have
Adobe Acrobat installed. Click the button at the bottom of

Q.
I didn't print a copy of
my Premium and Wage Report and/or Payment Coupon. How can I
print this information?
A. Please Log In to TNPAWS

your state UI Account Number and Access Code, the completed

the report, click the continue button to view the payment

Q.
How do I change the
appearance of my printed report?
A. You can control the
appearance of the printed report by adjusting the Text Size,
Header/Footer, and Margins. Adjusting the Text size will
affect the appearance of the web page as well as the printed

these settings, please refer to the Help section provided by
the browser's manufacturer.

duplicate paper report.
Q.
I already filed my report
for this quarter using another method. Can I submit it again
using TNPAWS?
A. If you have already filed a
report for a given quarter using one format, please do not
file again using TNPAWS. If changes to the information
submitted are needed, you must submit a supplemental Premium
and Wage Report
(LB-0456) or Claim for adjustment or Refund form
(LB-0459). If you wish to display these forms, you must
have Adobe Acrobat installed. Click the button at the bottom
of this section to download the free Acrobat
Reader.
Q.
How do I pay the premiums
due?
A. Payment can be made by ACH
Credit, or by mailing the Payment Coupon along with your
check or money order to the address provided. If you are
paying by ACH Credit, you must complete and return an
Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement prior to the
transfer. Please follow the ACH Credit link from the TNPAWS
home page to obtain the Electronic Funds Transfer
Agreement and the Addenda Record Format needed to
identify your state UI account.
Q.
How does the Automated
Clearinghouse (ACH) Credit payment method
work?
A. The ACH Credit method allows
you to transfer funds by instructing your financial
institution to debit your bank account and credit the
department's bank account. The transfer of funds is initiated
by you, and any fees associated with the transfer are paid by
you. For additional information, please follow the ACH Credit
link from the TNPAWS home page.
Q.
How is the receipt date
for my report determined?
A. TNPAWS will record the date
that the report was submitted and issue a Confirmation

before the due date since TNPAWS is only available Monday
through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM Central
Time.
